ICSSI Travel Support

A limited amount of funds will be made available to select undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs with accepted papers to the conference. This ICSSI Travel Support Program includes up to $300 in travel reimbursements plus a waiver of the conference registration fee. The travel award is intended to supplement other sources of funding for individuals to travel to and attend the ICSSI conference to present their papers. The travel funds are not meant to cover all expenses incurred. Applicants must pay for their travel with their own funds and will be reimbursed after the conference.

Application Deadline: May 10, 2024

Application & Selection Process: You must apply for the travel award by completing the online application form above before the May 1st deadline. All eligible applicants with an accepted paper will be entered into a randomized lottery through which recipients will be chosen. Recipients of the ICSSI Travel Support will be notified via email.

The University of Chicago will administer the travel support program. Receipts and invoices for transportation and/or lodging must be provided according to university guidelines to claim your travel support. Please see the general guidelines below:

ICSSI Travel Support may be used for the following:
